Wayne Harold Campbell
January 4th, 1939 – September 17th, 2011
After a lengthy illness, Wayne Campbell passed away in hospital on Saturday, September 17th, 2011. He will be sadly missed by Violet, his loving wife of 45 years. Wayne is survived by his brother Stanley; his cousins Nelson Kinney, Lorna Kellough, Ann McGowan and their families. He will be fondly remembered by his friends and “army buddies” in Campbell River and Prince Rupert. A special thank you to the nurses on the 2nd floor of the Campbell River & District Hospital for their wonderful care.
A Celebration of Wayne’s Life will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at 11 am in the Chapel of Sutton’s Campbell River Funeral Home, 502 South Dogwood Street followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion - Branch No 137, 301 11th Avenue. In memoriam donations to the Arthritis Society, 2680 Richmond Road, Victoria, BC V8R 4S9 would be appreciated by the family.
