Wayne Allan Brodie, born on July 25, 1940, passed away on February 5, 2008 in Victoria, BC following a brief illness. He was predeceased by his parents Ivy and Allan and his sister Barbara. Wayne is survived by his wife Myrtle, his daughters Joanne (John), Karen (Rick), and his grandchildren Cory, Beau, Dale, and Sarah. He is also survived by his brother Gordon. He will be missed by numerous other relatives and many special friends.

Wayne lived his entire life in Campbell River. He worked in the logging industry for over 45 years, and he was an avid traveller who enjoyed curling, skiing, golfing, fishing, and riding his “Harley”. He loved to entertain and also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.

The family would like to announce that a Celebration of Wayne’s Life will take place at the Maritime Heritage Centre, 621 Island Hwy, Campbell River, BC on Thursday, February 14, 2008 at 2:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend. If friends so desire, donations in Memory of Wayne may be made to either Ducks Unlimited or the Alzheimer’s Society.
