COULTER, VIOLET MARY
August 20, 1925 - July 31, 2009
Violet Mary Coulter (nee Cowan) was born in Carnarvon, Ontario on August 20, 1925. She was the youngest girl of ten children. She married Garnet Charles Coulter on December 6, 1945 in Minden, Ontario. In the spring of 1952 they moved to Campbell River where they lived until 2000 when they moved to the Parksville area.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Garnet; her daughters Joan (Jim) Munro of Campbell River and Sharon (John) Ahokas of Lantzville; her grandchildren Debra (Ken) of Ft. McMurray, Todd (Jackie) of Campbell River, Paula (Mike) of Campbell River, Graeme (Stephanie) of Calgary; Jason (Amanda) of Nanaimo and Katherine (Robbie) of Victoria; seven great grandsons Nathan, Hunter, Andrew, Tanar, Daniel, Cohen and Caleb; one sister and two brothers and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2009 at the Masonic Hall, 2905 North Island Highway, Campbell River, BC.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
