VIOLET MARY ANDERSEN
1913 – 2007
Born in Calgary, Violet lived most of her active life in Vancouver, and moved to Campbell River twenty years ago to be closer to family. She rejoiced in the natural beauty of the island and the friendships she made. She will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by her family – sister Katie of Montana; daughter Gael and son-in-law Jon Ackroyd of Campbell River; daughter June and son-in law Gerry Cockerill of Toronto; grandchildren Nonni (Phil), Sebastian (Jennifer), Adrienne and Austin, and great grandchildren Sam, Ewen and Branwen. In the past few years Violet was well known by the health care providers in Campbell River. The family appreciates all the good care she has received. In keeping with her wishes, a private family remembrance was held for Violet on May 3, 2007.
