Amy passed away peacefully at Yucalta Lodge on Apr. 30, 2010. She was predeceased by her husband Robert (Scotty) in 1996, brother Clarence, sister Margaret and parents Ruth and Henry Byers. Survived by her loving daughter Elaine and several nieces & nephews. Amy was born in Langley Prairie, BC, moved to Cortes Island at a very young age, where she lived until 1969; then moved to Campbell River where she has lived ever since. Amy will be remembered for her cheerful smile and her willingness to listen. She was an avid gardener, loved to read, knit and dance.
