Victor passed away in Campbell River Hospital after a long battle with lung cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Hazel and Einar Andersen. He was survived by his wife, Lorna, son, Bradley (Angel), grandchildren, Liam and Ewan, daughter, Joanne, grandchildren, Ava and Lucy, and his brother, Bruce. Vic lived his whole life in Campbell River, mainly Millwrighting, starting with Crown Zellerback - Timber West - Duncan Bay Saw Mill (44 years). Vic devoted thousands of hours volunteering in the community - Campbell River Scouting (40 years) - Volunteer Fire Department & Ambulance Service (30 years) - Martime Heritage Building (artifact displays and restoration of the historical seine boat BCP45 (16 years). As a member of the Campbell River Birtish Car Club, his main accomplishment was restoring his Delorean to like new condition. As per Vic's request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a favorite charity of your choice in memory of Vic. The family would like to thank Dr. Walker, Dr. Proctor and the staff in the Cancer Department of the Campbell River Hospital for their compassion and care.
