Trudean Ann Gardner
June 17, 1944-December 11, 2009
Our family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of our Mother, Nana and Wife on December 11th, 2009 at the Campbell River Hospital, after a short struggle with several health issues.
Trudy is predeceased by her parents Al and Lillian Kerr and her sister Tomi. She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 45 years Gordie, and by her children Cheryl and Brett, and grandchildren Bailey, Ellen, Callista and Talon. Trudy was born in Nanaimo, BC on June 17th, 1944. She moved with her family to the lower mainland in the mid 1950's, where she later met and married her husband Gordie on Dec 5th 1964. The couple moved to Campbell River in 1969 to work and raise their family. Through her life Trudy enjoyed boating and many motorcycle trips and vacations with Gordie and their close friends; however, her
true passion was cooking and caring for others. Trudy cherished time with family, especially her grandchildren. She touched the hearts of all those who knew her and will be sorely missed by all.
A celebration of Trudy's life will be held at a later date this Spring.
