TRACY JOAN BARKER (nee LAMBRECHTS)
January 5, 1965 - February 10, 2010
Tracy Barker passed away on February 10, 2010 after a sudden, brief and unexpected battle with cancer.
Tracy is survived and deeply mourned by her husband Glenn, son Tristan and daughter Gillian. Her loss is also intensely mourned by her grandmother Joan Lambrechts of Middleburg, South Africa, and her brother Hugo and his wife Alison of Santa Rosa Beach, Florida. Also deeply grieving her loss, and all she shared with them and their families are her brother-in-laws Mickey and wife Darileen Barker of Salmon Arm, BC, and Bill and wife Lin Barker of Maple Ridge, BC, and their extended families.
Tracy will be truly missed by many friends locally and far away, and remembered as a true friend in times of need.
A Memorial Service was held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Campbell River, BC.
Tracy will be remembered as a loving wife, loving mother, friend, and as an artist.
In lieu of flowers, any donations in Tracy's memory may be
made to the Campbell River Hospice Society, the Canadian
Cancer Society or any other charity of ones choice.
The immediate Barker family would like to give a special thank you to Donna Wescomb and Lynda and Vaughn Baechler for the special efforts they made to assist us in the past four weeks caring for Gillian and Lucy dog. Glenn would also like to thank Larry and Shirley Bone of Port Alberni and Mike and Sylvia Janicki of Courtenay for their support in the past weeks.
