Passed away January 1, 2003 at the age of 37, after a courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by her mom, Sharon, Aunts, Uncles and many loving pets, she will be fondly remembered by her boyfriend Steve, dad Ed, brother Doug (Jennifer), nephew Dale, Mellisa, cousin Charlie, Maureen, Ethel, Greg, Leonie, Brian & Ron as well as many family and friends.
Tracey was born in Campbell River September 17, 1965 and lived here all her life. Her caring and devotion for all pets and animals was a life long passion, especially dogs. She at one time was a member of the Dog Club, participating in dog shows as well as other aspects of the club. She enjoyed serving and helping people which led to her work at convenience stores, daycare and pet stores where she shined her best. She was an avid walker and completed the Great Walk from Gold River to Tahsis twice! She also enjoyed bike riding and the feeling of freedom it gave to her. She did several long distance bike trips around the Island and Sunshine Coast. She was also a stock car racing enthusiast. Her loving, caring and giving nature will be sadly missed but forever remembered by all the lives she touched.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Campbell River Hospital and the Continuing Care Nurses for their kind and loving support and respectful care.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of her life January 10, 2003 between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. at the Eagles Hall 1999 - 14th Ave. in Campbell River.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA in Tracey’s memory would greatly be appreciated as she was a great supporter and volunteer for the SPCA.
We all thank you for being such an important part of our lives, your love, caring and beauty lives on and shall never be forgotten.
