Thomas Paterson Normand

July 28, 2002

normand,

Thomas Paterson

Born December 26, 1915. Tom passed away peacefully at Sunshine Lodge in Campbell River on July 28, 2002.

He is lovingly remembered by May, his wife of 59 years, his son Tom and daughter-in-law Jeannette of Campbell River, and granddaughters Nicole of Victoria, Trisha of Kelowna and Stephanie of Calgary. He will also be remembered by sister-in-laws Irene and husband Ken Brown of Mission, Lorraine Nordin of Surrey and special niece Marie Mearns of North Vancouver. He will also be remembered by his many other nieces, nephews and friends.

Tom was born in Pritchard, B.C., grew up in Vancouver, and lived many years in South Burnaby. Tom loved his work and was 76 when he finally retired from his contracting business. A few years later he moved to Campbell River to be closer to his family, especially his granddaughters. He was a loving Husband, caring Father, devoted “Papa” and will be missed but not forgotten by all who knew him.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Nurses and Care workers at Sunshine Lodge.

By request, there will be a private service. In lieu of flowers donations to the Alzeimers Society or charity of ones choice would be appreciated.
