THELMA MARION ECKFORD
October 6, 1916 – March 8, 2010
Thelma was born in New Westminster, BC and married Hector W. Eckford in 1947. They lived on Read Island until 1951 and then resided in Campbell River until her passing. Thelma loved sewing and enjoyed playing the organ and piano, which she also taught. She and Hector spent many years travelling in their motorhome and visiting family in England.
Thelma was predeceased by her husband Hector, brother Lloyd and sister Beatrice. She is survived by her son Ralph (Arlene) of Campbell River, daughter Ellen (Robert) of Carlisle, England; brothers Mac and Roy, sisters Ruth and Mary Anne, 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, also many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Campbell River Sportsplex on Thursday, March 18 at 2:00 p.m.
