Terence Melroy Roddie passed away on March 24, 2017 at Evergreen Seniors Residence. Born in Quesnel, BC on May 10, 1935, Mel spent most of his life living in Campbell River. He worked as a fisherman and a logger before spending 30 years with BC Hydro. Mel loved his family, his 36 Dodge Coupe and the great outdoors; hunting, fishing, and being at the family cabin on Village Bay Lakes. Predeceased by grandson Bryce Barnard (2007) and brother Terry Welsh. Survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marilyn; children Theresa (Axel), Loreen (Wayne), Steven, Dena (Karl) Anne (Rob), 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren, brothers Ray (Joan) Welsh and Billy Welsh. He will be dearly missed by all his family. A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
