"Ted" Edward Alfred Joseph Vanstone

We are deeply saddened to announce that Ted Vanstone passed away from lung cancer on October 8 2022. Ted was born in Campbell River to a long time pioneer family in 1938. He is predeceased by his parents Edward and Edith Vanstone, brother, Richard, sister Judy and grandparents, David and Eliza Vanstone,.
Survived by the love of his life, Carole. His Sister, Joy. Daughters; Cheryl (Roy), Teresa (Fred) and their mother Eleanor. Grandchildren; Breanne, Colin, Brad and Jeff. Great Grandchildren; Eurodice, Taylor, Teegan, Miya, Eli, Emmie, Kylie and Makenna
When Ted was young, he loved exploring the Straight of Georgia on his boat with his family and friends. He once ventured as far as Alaska on his 22' Sangster. To finance all of his adventures, he worked at the Campbell River Pulp mill.
Ted's last years were joyful and carefree with Carole. They loved to travel and play cards. Every morning they would play crib and the loser had to make breakfast.
In lieu of flowers, take someone you love, someplace nice, and create a beautiful memory.
A service will be held at the Eagles Hall at 1999 14 Ave, Campbell River on Saturday October 22 2022 from 1 pm - 3 pm. Please join us to celebrate Ted.
