After a brief stay at the Campbell River hospital, Takaharu passed away on July 10. The family would like to thank all the doctors and nurses who showed their compassion during his care. Having retired over 30 years ago, he pursued his favourite pass time of fishing. He can now go look for new fishing holes. He leaves behind a loving wife, sons and a very large extended family abroad. He will be missed.
