It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of our mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed by her children, Debbie (Steve), Trish and Mark (Nova), her grandchildren, Jacqui, Danica, Dylan, Shayde, Candice and Mercedes and her siblings, Marjorie (Patrick), Gerald (Marilyn), Diane, Arthur (Mary) and Wayne (Joanne), as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sylvia will be remembered for her devotion to her family and friends, and her willingness to give her time and love to anyone in need. We were given a great privilege to have her in our lives.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff in the ICU at Prince George Regional Hospital for their dedication and support during Sylvia’s stay. In lieu of flowers those wishing to remember Sylvia can make a donation to Spirit of the North Health Care Foundation, for the ICU (1475 Edmonton St. Prince George V2M 1S2) in her name. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday September 22 at Columbia-Bowell Funeral Chapel, 219 6th Street, New Westminster.
