Steven Walter Fredrick Tyerman Jr.

Steve was born May 23, 1974; oldest son to Martha and Steve Sr. Steve has always loved the outdoors and throughout his life enjoyed many adventures in the woods and on the ocean. More than anything, Steve loved his family. His nieces and nephews were his pride and joy. Throughout the years, Steve struggled with his health but kept his sense of humor until the Lord called him home.
Steve is survived by his parents Martha and Steve; his grandfather Walter Tyerman; his sister Maggie (Rob); his brothers Kris (Eleasha) and Andrew (Melissa). He is also survived by his adopted sisters Rhonda (Mike), Karen Finney and Cathy. Steve is survived by his precious nieces and nephews: Mackenzie, Amelia, Melyssa, Tahsys, Brittany, Gavin and Owen. Steve will be dearly missed by his cat Mars Bar and a multitude of extended family and friends.
A funeral service took place on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 in Campbell River at the St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Steve’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital, Dufferin Place and his “family” in the NRGH Renal Unit for their love and care for Steve over the years where he had made Nanaimo his home.
When God saw you getting tired
And a cure was not to be,
He put his arms around you,
And whispered,“Come to Me.”
With tearful eyes we watched you
And saw you pass away.
And although we love you dearly,
We could not make you stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating,
Hard working hands at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us.
He only takes the best.
