Steve passed away at Campbell River on Tuesday, November 14, 2006. He was predeceased by his mother Eleanor McLean and his father Albert Geoghegan. Steve is survived by his wife Kathleen Geoghegan; his brother Ronald Waterman (Gail) of Victoria; his sister Joyce Clements (Doug) of Victoria; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and from his mother’s side, aunts Thelma Helliwell nee Dopp and Doreen Quaife. Steve was a logger for 36 years. He was loyal, honorable and an excellent friend to all who knew him well. He was a devoted husband and one who loved cats. He was a hard worker who loved his job and was well liked by his co-workers. A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held at Elks Hall, 516 S. Dogwood St., Campbell River on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 4:00 p.m. Donations in Steve’s memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of B.C., P.O. Box 741, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 6J3 or to the Canadian Cancer Society, Unit B-1423-16th Avenue, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 2E4 would be appreciated.
