On September 9, 2017, Sonny Lawlor was called upon to join the greatest ball team in the sky. He was an avid ball player up until the age of 80. Sonny was the love of my (Elaine) life, married for over 60 years. A true man who always stood tall beside me, supporting me all the way. He always waited in anticipation for family to arrive and was last to give a wave.
Sonny drove transport trucks for many years with a flawless driving record. He was a patient fisherman with a true appreciation of nature's gifts. Sonny loved his family, friends and life.
He will be greatly missed by Elaine, Karen; Megan (Klay), River; Gayle (Rob), Greg (Debbie), Grady (Bre), Brodie (Brittaney), Dallas (Meghan) and Keenan.
Celebration of Sonny's life will be a private ceremony.
