Sharon past away after a lengthy battle with cancer, at home, on Christmas Eve surrounded by her husband Don and her children.
Mom was born in Cumberland, lived in Bevan, and moved with her family to Campbell River in 1952 where her father got a job with Argonaut Mines. She married in 1961 and raised her family in Painter Barclay Subdivision, living in the same house for 54 years.
Mom loved to entertain and have company drop by for coffee. Once she met you, she had the uncanny ability to remember everyone's birth date or important event date in their life. Family, relatives, friends, classmates or neighbours, she remembered you, and she will be remembered.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents, James and Ruby Clarkson and her youngest Brother Alan Clarkson.
She is survived by her Husband of 58 years Don, her loving children, Dale, Greg and Lonni, 6 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Siblings, Bob Clarkson, Marilyn King, Heather Johnson and Ron Clarkson.
The family would like to thank Dr. Anne Morrison, the Palliative Care Nurses and Staff, the Nurses at the Chemo Dept at CR Hospital and Coreen Clarkson for their guidance and support.
