In Loving Memory ~
The Stobbe family are grieved to write that Shad died on July 15. He was 51. He had recently come out of 2 surgeries after suffering serious injuries from a cycling accident on the West Coast, where he was working as a Chef.
Shad leaves behind his son Nico, daughter Hannah, mom Doreen, brother Paul, sisters Kira & Mishel (with Nick), and nieces & nephews who adored him.
We will celebrate Shad's life in a small family gathering at his childhood home, recognizing his indigenous heritage and adoptive culture.
He was a member of the Nisga'a Nation.
