It is with profound sadness that the family of Sandy Laybourne announce her passing on April 21, 2012 . Sandy went to be with her Lord surrounded by those who loved her so very much, including her beloved husband Robert. Sandy was known as “The Doll Dresser” and had a gift for producing exquisite porcelain dolls. She enjoyed creating scrap books for her family and had a passionate love of reading.
There will be a funeral service for Sandy on Thursday, April 26, at 2:00pm at the Christian Life Fellowship Church, 445 Merecroft Road, Campbell River. Sandy loved pink roses and daisies so flowers would be most welcome. For anyone wishing to make a charitable donation in her memory they may do so through the Canadian Cancer Society to benefit Pancreatic Cancer Research.
