It is with deep sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Sam on November 28, 2016 in Calgary, Alberta.
Born in Campbell River, September 3, 1984, he was the beloved son of Brien (deceased 2015) and Gretchen (Ritcey) Dolan. Sam is also survived by brother Gus, sister Allie, loyal dog Molly, extended family and many special friends. At the time of his passing, he was employed by Valard Construction. He will always be fondly remembered for enjoying a good party, being an avid Jay’s fan and having a round of golf especially with his mom in recent times. He was a smart, hardworking and kind soul.
A celebration of Sam’s life, followed by a reception will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1pm at the Campbell River United Church with Rev. Wayne Hughes officiating. Private interment next to his dad will take place in the new year. If desired, donations in Sam’s memory may be made to the SPCA Campbell River branch, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
