Samantha Laine
Our angel Sam was born on March 7, 1990 in Campbell River to Darlene and Howie Iverson. After fighting so courageously through a long battle with leukemia she passed from this world on Friday January 4th to be reunited with her dad and grandparents. She was surrounded by the people that loved her most. Sam is deeply missed and forever remembered in the hearts of her mother Darlene (Dan), loving sisters Kelly and Tracy, Gramma Claire along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Sam was an eternal optimist seeking the positive in everyone and inspiring many with her quiet confidence and unrelenting spirit. Her happiness was evident in her shining smile that endeared her to everyone.
As a child she loved skating, dancing, going on road trips and hanging out with her friends. Samantha and her best friend Sydney travelled over the speed bumps of life together with laughter and love.
Samantha will forever be our warrior princess. We will celebrate her life on Saturday January 12, 2008 in the Carihi Gymnasium, Dogwood Street at 2:00p.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Samantha Iverson Memorial Fund. Please make cheques payable to School District 72, Campbell River.
