Roy Crawford Forrester

With sad hearts we said good-bye to our father and friend Roy Crawford Forrester. Roy passed away peacefully, with his family by his side on Monday Feb. 4, 2013 at the C.R. Hospital.
He is predeceased by his wife and partner June and a long line of four legged friends. Roy leaves behind his daughters Sandra Parrish (Greg) and Catriona Beauchesne (Mark) and grandchildren Laura (Mark Lihou) and Ian Parrish and one special great grandchild Deven Lihou.
Dad’s shovel and clippers may lay still but the beauty of his beloved garden remains alive and vibrant. His sense of humor, kindness and common sense will remain with us all for years to come. A gathering in Roy’s garden will take place at a future date when the sun is shining and the flowers in bloom.
Thanks to the excellent staff at the C.R. Hospital, Dr. de Bruin & Dr. MacNeill for their care and support.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation.
Roy has joined June in the “Land o’ the Leal.”
