Passed away peacefully Thursday August 14, 2003 after celebrating her 94th birthday four days previously at the Sunshine Lodge.
She is predeceased by her husband Bill Luoma in 1967 and a grandson, Les in 1986.
She is survived by her loving family; daughter Helen, sons, Rob (Gloria), and Bruce (Joan). She also leaves eight grandchildren; Sandy (Rick), Doreen (Michael), William (Kim), Alan (Diane D.), Terry (Diane M.), Mike (Arjen), Julie (John), Todd (Erica) as well as eleven greatgrandchildren; Lisa (Brian), Crystal, Kelley, Kristianne, Alyssa, Keshia, Dayton, Kathleen, Emilya, Jenelle and Christopher and two great-great grandchildren, Rachel and Jacob, one brother in law Andrew (Mary) and many other relatives and friends. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
A special thank-you to those caregivers for their special care given to Rose at the Sunshine Lodge. Rose will be sadly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers a donation to the C.R. Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
