Rose passed away November 4, 2004 with her family by her side. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose caring nature will be missed by her family and friends. Despite lengthy illness, Rose’s strength and determination kept her from losing her feisty attitude. Her family is left with many happy memories to cherish. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, George; children, Cheryl (Jim), Gerald; grandson, Michael (Teresa); sisters, Frieda, Eleanor, Leona, Erna; brother, Edmond; brother-in law Taff and many nieces and nephews. The family will honour Rose’s request for no funeral or flowers. If desired a donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1423B-16th Avenue, Campbell River, B.C., V9W 2C4.
