With deepest sorrow, we announce the peaceful passing of my father, Ronald James, December 21, 2013.
Ron was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary, sisters Lorraine, Evelyn and Marjorie. He is survived by his partner Alice Coolin, brother Jack (Theresa), sons; Ken (Sheila), Ted (Kathy), grandchildren Jason (Angela), Matt (Jo) Layton, Aliesha (John), Thomas, Greg and Ethan, great-grandchildren Alyssa and McKenna and nieces and nephews. Ron will be missed by many friends and family.
Ron was raised on a farm in Watsons Corners, Ontario,where he will be laid to rest with his parents at a time to be announced. He then moved around throughout his life and decided to reside in Campbell River for the remainder of his life.
"The Ladies Man", Ron was known as a hardworking man who loved to smile and dance. The families would like to thank the nursing staff of the 2nd floor of New Horizons in Campbell River, B.C. for their thoughtfulness.
In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in the charity of your choice in Ron's name.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring at the Family home in Campbell River TBA, followed by a service in the summer in his home town Watsons Corner, Ontario.
