Ron passed away In the early morning of March 30, 2018 at the North Island Campbell River Hospital from complications of cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Judy, three sons James, Gary and Oren, and two grandchildren, Brandon and Darien.
Ron was born in Vancouver BC on April 9th, 1941 and grew up on the West Coast. After high school he became a salesman, later working for the photography business, Fredrick Studio in many Alberta and BC locations. Subsequently Ron took over the business and relocated to Vancouver Island. In 1979 Campbell River became the home base from which he ran the photography business. Photography and OJ music for weddings and other events then became his career for many decades.Throughout his career Ron also volunteered his time expertise and equipment for many charitable events.
The famlly would like to thank Dr. L De Bruin and the nurses on the third floor of the hospital for their kind expertise in taking care of Ron in the three weeks he was there.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 14, 2018 at 2:30 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1935 Evergreen Road, Campbell River B.C.
Refreshments will be served following the Service.
