Ron passed away peacefully on July 12, 2013 at Yucalta Lodge in Campbell River with his family by his side.
He leaves behind his best friend and wife of 39 years Linda, daughter Kim (Doug), son Richard (Lynne), son Chad (Julie) son Raymond (Michele), 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brothers, sisters in law, nieces, nephews and many very good friends.
Ron was born and raised in Calgary Alberta where he grew up with his three brothers. Never afraid to take a risk, he led a very interesting and adventurous life including farming, property development, small business owner, real estate, thoroughbred racing, horse breaking and even a little stock car racing in his younger years.
His passion and drive made him successful in everything that he did.
Ron’s long time interest in cars led him to be an active member of The North Island Vintage Car Club, The North Island Cruisers and the British Car Club.
A great husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed.
A Celebration of Ron’s Life will take place on July 20, 2013 at w2:00 pm at Yucalta Lodge with refreshments to follow.
