The world is mourning the loss of Roger William Wogan who passed away suddenly on Tuesday, March 6th, 2018.

Born in Calgary, Alberta, in 1967, Roger had many homes in his youth, including a long stint in Holland, before settling, for twenty-five years, in Campbell River. While here he touched many lives as a friend, a husband and a father.

Roger spent the last twelve years living in Wabasca, Alberta, where he met his current spouse, Christine, and became an integral part of her family and community.

Always a creative soul, Roger was an excellent chef, a talented musician, and an avid photographer. He also had a passion for computers and in the end, was working as the head of IT for a large geographical region.

Roger will be remembered for his warm and friendly personality. He was open and generous and always the perfect host. Roger was predeceased by his father, Christopher Wogan, and by his step-daughter Caitlyn Elickus- Andersen.

He is survived by his spouse, Christine Brown; his son, Ryan Wogan; his daughter Cassidy Wogan; and his stepson Dexter Mckay.

He is also survived by his mother, Marijke van der Klift; his brothers, Paul and Steve Wogan; his sister, Jane Ashmead; and their families.
