Roger passed away in Campbell River, BC. on February 21, 2016 at the age of 63. Predeceased by father Henry Janson and mother Patricia Janson; survived by sister Deborah and nephew Francis
Roger was born in St. Boniface, Manitoba. The family moved to Vancouver in the 1950’s, settling in North Vancouver where Roger went to Carson Graham high school. He studied at UBC earning a BA in History.
Roger was a talented artist and spent many years painting the wilderness of BC. He worked for many years as a skilled gardener on Vancouver Island where he lived, including Victoria, Saanichton and Mill Bay. Recently he had moved to Quadra Island.
