After a valiant fight with MSA, Roger passed away peacefully with family at his side on January 23, 2017. Born and raised in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Roger went on to be an Optical Designer working on projects such as the cameras on the Canada Arm in the Space Shuttle Program, always living by his motto, “Vive Valeque.”
His family would like to send a heartfelt “Thank You” to all his caregivers and staff at Evergreen Seniors Home. He felt so comfortable there and had such fond memories of you guys.
Also a heartfelt “Thank You” to all the caregivers and staff at New Horizons. A special “Thank You” to the nurses Michelle, Jacqueline, Tara and Randi for their loving care in his last couple of weeks.
Jenna, we knew how much your visits were anticipated when he could actually tell the time on Mondays.
