Robert Wayne,

(September 8, 1966-December 20, 2005) passed suddenly at home. He is survived by his wife-Elise, mother-Margaret, father-Ernest, brother-Reg (Leslie) and nieces-Veronica and Marisa, sister-Wendy and niece and nephews-Olivia, Keegan and Aaron, uncles, aunts and cousins. Also leaves David (Rhonda) and girls, Tawna and children, Marilyn, Uncles and Aunts.

Robert grew up in Campbell River. He enjoyed cadets, band and sports. Robert attended Willow Point Elementary School and graduated from Southgate Secondary in 1984. He was a very active member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Robert was well known for playing taps and reveille at the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day for many years. He was also known as “Uncle Bobbin” to his nieces and nephews and loved to play and tease with them.

Robert worked for several years for the village of Tahsis. During the last five years he worked for Price’s Locksmith in Campbell River.

In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Legion bursary fund or a charity of your choice may be made.

A memorial service will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall at 1:00 p.m. in Campbell River on Wednesday, December 28, 2005.
