Bob passed away peacefully at Yucalta Lodge on December 22, 2018. 
Bob was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Gladys Thulin and his 2 brothers Harry and Bud Thulin, and his grand daughter Cassie Marie Thulin. 
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Yvonne of 62 years, his 4 children, Kenneth (Suzanne), Karen (Stu), Sandra (David) and Bruce, his 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. 
Bob was born and raised in Campbell River and worked at Elk Falls Pulp and Paper Mill until his retirement in 1994. He was also a Volunteer Fireman at the Campbell River Fire Department for many years. Bob enjoyed his time fishing as a member of the Tyee Club since 1978, he also spent his free time golfing up and down the Island with his golfing buddies. 
Bob/Dad/Grandpa was the most devoted, dedicated, loving man who loved his family unconditionally. 
The Thulin family would like to give our heartfelt appreciation to the amazing staff and Care Aids at Yucalta Lodge. 
Flowers gratefully declined. Donations in Bob's memory can be made to the BC Children's Hospital as this was his choice of charity. 
Private cremation services entrusted to Island Funeral Services/Elk Falls Crematorium.
