It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, uncle and friend.
Bob passed away peacefully at Royal Jubilee Hospital in Victoria due to complications following a severe heart attack.
Bobby is survived by his parents, Bob and Eva-May Jamieson, his sisters, Charleen Clandening(Gordie) and Darcy Murray(Terry). He also leaves behind four nephews, one niece, and one great nephew, as well as many dear cousins and friends from Quadra Island, Campbell River and surrounding areas.
Bobby was raised on Quadra Island amidst loving grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Coming from a commercial fishing family, Bobby soon found his place in the commercial fishing industry. He also tried his hand at logging which took him to the Queen Charlotte Islands for a period of time. However, he returned to his passion for fishing on the B.C. coast on which he was raised.
The family would like to express their thanks to the many doctors and nurses at St. Joseph’s ICU, and Royal Jubilee Hospital, as well as the kind and caring staff of the Salvation Army.
No service by request. In lieu of flowers, donations may by made to the Salvation Army in Bobby’s name.
