Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 16, 2010 in Vancouver General Hospital at the age of forty-eight after a courageous fight from a brain aneurism. Bob was born and raised in Ladysmith, BC and resided in Nanaimo, BC for the past 15 years. Survived by his partner of 18 years Dawn O'Shea, parents Don (Ann) Gardner, and Pat (Don) Edwards, sister Trisha (Mike) Gardner, children Tyler, Lindsay, Bailey, Tasha, Sydney, niece Hailey Mannynvali and granddaughter Lily. A memorial reception will be held at the Ladysmith Eagles Hall on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 2pm-5pm.
