Richard Barriault
April 26, 1966
–April 6, 2011
It is with heavy hearts and sadness we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our beloved Richard. He was predeceased by his father Raymond Barriault. He is survived by his mother Marie, sister Joeanne (Ken) Delcasino, brothers Roger (Lisa) Barriault, Raymond (Sheila) Barriault, nephew Tejay Delcasino, nieces Ashly Delcasino, Kayla Barriault and a close friend and companion who was special to Richard, Dona Shannon. Richard was born in Campbell River, graduated from Carihi where he had many friends. Richard followed his father’s foot steps and worked out in the woods until he was unable to work due to an injury. He then obtained his Class 1 driver’s licence and started to drive truck for Dave Rennie until his death. Richard was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. His favourite time fishing was for trout with his partner Skylar Gordon who Richard loved deeply.
Richard was very good at pulling wrenches on his old beat up trucks for he had to be if he wanted them to run. He was adored and loved by many life long friends. Richard will be sorrily missed by all, for he touched so many hearts with his kindness. If you so desire, donations to a charity of your choice.
Service to be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m.
