It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rheta Mae Anderson after a short stay in the hospital.
She struggled with various medical conditions over many years.
She is survived by her life partner John Fozzard and her sister Judy in Washington State.
Rheta was born in Vancouver and her family later moved to Ocean Falls, where she worked in the main office of the Pulp and Paper Mill until she transferred to the Mill in Campbell River in 1973. She worked there until her retirement in 1996.
Jesse and the team from 3B14 have done an excellent job of keeping her comfortable during her final days.
