Reo David McCoy

June 18, 1971 - August 5, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son, brother, nephew and father in Nanaimo General Hospital. He leaves to mourn parents Dave and Maryann McCoy, brothers Dale and Ian and children Harley and Sarah and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Reo was born in Campbell River Hospital, lived and worked on Cortez Island, BC most of his life, also worked on Meurelle Island and Camp Island and lived in Terrace, BC last 2 years. Reo was fun loving, humorous, a great artist, especially cartoons and an exceptional good hard worker, running excavator, skidder, loader and trucking a trade in our family!

Family and friends were very important to him and he was proud of his children.

There was a beautiful sunset the day you passed away. We felt you were in a peaceful place now, on this day.

We will remember you forever, as we all have a special bond Through thick or thin, it was always there our family bond was strong! We will miss you & our Happy Times,

We love you and we will never forget you son or your smile!

You were taken from us way too soon!

Our good memories of you will carry us through!

It was sad, sad day, when you passed away.

Till we meet again son, someday!

A Celebration of Life potluck luncheon will be held at Dave and Maryann McCoy's, 449 Chamadashtea Way, Cortez Island, BC. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at 1:00 o'clock.

Please bring your favourite potluck dish to share and any memories you have of Reo.
