It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Raymond Maurice Jerome.
Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Patricia, brothers Leonard and Ted and sister Theresa.
He is survived by his long-time partner Merilyn, sisters Marlene and Toni, daughter Susan (Willy), son Kerry (Memery), son Randy (Sara), step son Adrian (Donna), grandchildren Shella, Keri-Anne, Stevie, Byron, Jeremy, Kerry, Coral, Shawn, 13 great grandchildren and many extended family members.
Ray was born and raised in Ontario and moved to BC as a young man. He met his wife Patricia in Vancouver, BC and moved to Vancouver Island shortly after. Ray spent the bulk of his career working for M&B in Kelsey Bay. A few years after Pat passed away Ray met Merilyn and moved to Nanaimo, BC where he enjoyed playing horseshoes and being in the bowling league with his buddies.
At Ray's request there will not be a service.
