Ray
Ray Lorenzo was taken from us suddenly, November 17, 2008. He has left to mourn his loss, his wife Marilyne, his children, Raelene and Wayne (Anita). Also missing him are his grandchildren, Cody, Nicolas, Amanda, Jaiyden, Heather and Alex. He also leaves his siblings Theresa (Art), Rose (Blackie) and Roxanne, and his many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Colena and Peter and his brothers, Peter and Johnny.
He spend most of his working life logging with Macmillan Bloedel and then with Weyerhaeuser, retiring with them in the Queen Charlotte Islands. His work ethic second to none, spending 44 years in the forest. More recently he operated his own chartering company on the Queen Charlotte Islands. He spent many years indulging his passion for music, spending many gatherings at the accordion and keyboards, entertaining family and friends.
He will be greatly missed by his loving family, a lifetime of friends and his dog, Jackson.
There is a celebration of Ray's life planned for December 19th 2008 at 6pm at the Italian Centre in Port Alberni. His family would appreciate all friends dropping by.
