November 20, 1937 – December 22, 2020
It is with great sadness that the family of Ray Kavaliunas announces his passing at the Campbell River Hospital on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at the age of 83.
Ray will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Irene of 45 years and her five children Linda (Gary), Darlene, Alan (Donna), Lorraine (Ron), Tammy (Gary) and nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ray also leaves his brother Ken (Pat), sister Connie and 4 nephews, 1 niece, and 1 godchild.
Ray started his career in Ocean Falls and then moved to Campbell River and worked at Elk Falls Pulp Mill. Ray was a long time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Ray used to love fishing, golf, crib and other card games, and later in life he would do crossword puzzles and Sudoko for hours a day.
Thank you to Dr. Meckim and the nurses on 3B for their compassionate care. I would also like to thank family and friends for all the love and support, cards, flowers, food and phone calls.
Thank You, Irene
