Passed away suddenly on August 3, 2015 at the age of 89. He is survived by his wife Betty and stepson George, daughters Sandra and Sophie; grandchildren Rob, Heather and Andrea, great-grandchildren Tyler, Cameron, and Isabella as well as many nieces and nephews.
Sandy was a former resident of Quadra Island where he was involved in the fishing industry for many years. He then moved to Horseshoe Bay to work for the Department of Fisheries and Oceans as a skipper on one of their research vessels until his retirement.
He will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
