In loving memory ~
Phil passed away on June 7, 2025, at his home, probably watching the Oilers play the Panthers. He moved to Campbell River in 1969, and once there, he wanted to be nowhere else. He was well known to many as a career logger, an original member of the Story Creek Gulf Club, an old-timers hockey player, a ball player, and a frequent imbiber at many pubs. Phil never married and had no children, but had brothers, nieces, nephews, Sisters-in-law and many good friends.
Rest in peace, Sammy.
