He passed away peacefully on June 22, 2006 at the age of 76, in Sunshine Lodge. He is survived by his wife Lois Howes, daughter Glenna (Tony), son Jeffery (Cheryl); stepsons Glenn (Louise), Bruce (Karen); grandchildren: Jordan, Brayden, Grant and Michael Howes. He was a longshoreman on the mainland for many years and a member of the Eagles and Legion. Sincere thanks to Dr. S. Lebuf and the staff on 2 North and Sunshine Lodge for the attention they gave him to make him comfortable.
If so desired, donations could be made to the North Island Chapter of Multiple Sclerosis (with a receipt), or the Campbell River Multiple Sclerosis Support Group.
There will be a celebration of Peter’s Life at the Eagles on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2:30p.m.
