Paul passed away peacefully on January 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Elisabeth for 62 years. He will live in the loving memories of his children Eric (Teresa), Greg (Edna Lansdowne), Monica, Lucy (Bruce Malone), Liz (Scott Creyke), Gilbert (Ann), Rita (Tony Vanbergen) and Barb (Mike Hanna); his 21 grandchildren and his 11 great-grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Dr. Willem Prinsloo and to Fr. Jan Grotkowski. The family is so very thankful to the wonderful caregivers at Evergreen Seniors Home, especially Joanie and Karen for the Home Care they provided, and to Jaime and Tammy for their tenderness in Dad’s final hours. A Prayer Service will be held at Saint Patrick’s Church, 34 South Alder Street, Campbell River on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 7 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 1pm, also at Saint Patrick’s Church, followed by private cremation.
