Paul's sudden passing has been such a shock to our family, and his friends and his community.
Paul was born in Victoria and spent the first ten yrs of his life in Sidney, when we moved to Campbell River, and so a good part of his childhood was here. He loved life, and never met a stranger. He loved living close to the ocean, and played and did very well in sports locally.
He most importantly had a strong love for the Lord! As an adult Paul moved to Abbotsford, B.C., and he loved it there and the people...he worked in Mission, and ran for Politics in the Fraser Valley as well.
Paul will be missed by his wonderful wife Esther, as well as his parents, Dennis and Sherilyn Redekopp, brothers Dean (Angel), and Shaun (Hazel), Greg; sister Danielle.; nieces, Caitlyn, Bryanna and Nevaeh, Crystal and Kyla; nephews, Evan, Robbie, and Gordie; and many cousins, some of whom were more like siblings.
Paul was sooo much fun to be around, and was larger than life itself, he had an incredible sense of humour, and will be missed for his kindness to all...
