It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, husband, brother, grandfather and uncle. Dad was born on January 26, 1934 in Nokomis, Saskatewan. He married the love of his life, Irma, in 1957. Together they had four children: Colleen, Kathleen, Jim and Gaylene (Kris). Dad worked for MacMillan Bloedel, out of Sayward, from 1969 to 1994 when he retired. He enjoyed being a bullbucker foreman and giving the fallers a hard time.
Dad’s passion in life was curling. Both Mom and Dad were active members of the curling club where many Labatts Blue were drank.
He leaves behind his grandchildren Kristy, Steven, Shaylene, J.D., Donyne and Karlee, seven great-grandchildren and his sister Trudy (Irving) Herr from Atikokan, Ontario.
