It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Pamela Anne deBoer, a resident of Campbell River, who passed away at Vancouver General Hospital surrounded by her family on Saturday April 23, 2016 at the age of 56. Beloved wife of Ron deBoer and mother of Lucas [Tara] and Kandyce deBoer. Amazing grandmother to Katie and Alex. Loving daughter of Dona, and the late Kurt, Hammerlein and daughter-in-law of Nora and Dirk deBoer. Awesome big sister to Brenda Voivoda [Mauro], Brian Kelly [Joanne], April Snary [Howie] and Kurtina Buchan [Steve]. Sister-in-law to Jeff and Jim deBoer. She will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pamela was born in Chatham, Ontario and moved to BC in 1988. She was a property manager on Mount Washington, running her own business Peak Accommodations for 12 years. Pamela enjoyed to travel with the love of her life and spend time cooking with her children and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Klein and Dr. Mahoney for their wonderful care, the fantastic ladies in Medical Day Care at Campbell River General Hospital and all the staff who provided such amazing care for Pamela.
