Ollie Helen
October 29th, 1928 to May 10th, 2003. Ollie passed away peacefully on May 10th, 2003 at the Campbell river & district Hospital with her family by her side. She raised but leaves behind, two daughters, Jackie and Debra and a son John. She took an active part in the rearing of three grandchildren Heather, Brenna, and Darcy and a grandson, Shawn as well as a great-granddaughter, Cailyn. She is also survived by her sister, Elsie Kowalski. Ollie, for many years, served with the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and held many positions though the years, including Madam President. She made many good friends and truly loved being apart of the Eagles. Ollie also loved camping with friends and family. She always “did it up big”.

A service will be held at Sutton’s Funeral Chapel, 502 S. Dogwood St, on Friday May 16th, 2003 at 11:00am and for those who wish, a visitation from 10:00 to 10:30 on May 16th, 2003 as well. Interment will follow immediately after service at the Elk Falls Cemetery.
A Tea will be given by the Ladies Auxiliary at the Eagles Hall, 1999 14th Ave., Campbell River. Everyone is invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Campbell River Hospital Foundation, P.O. Box 811, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 6Y4.
